CANCELLING ORDERS

Please follow the instructions below if you need to cancel an order. The instructions vary based upon the type of order. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further details.

DOMAIN ORDERS

Registrations

Domain registrations can be cancelled at any time, but refunds are only issued if the cancellation request is made within 3 days of registration and your account does not have excessive cancellations. To cancel a domain registration,

  • Log In: Clients log in to your Client Portal.
  • Access Services: From the main dashboard or navigation, go to Billing > Services (or the Domain Manager section).
  • Select Domain: Find the specific domain registration in their list of active services and click Manage.
  • Request Cancellation: Click the Cancel button or select the cancellation option.
  • Set Cancellation Type:
  • A. Immediate: Cancels the registration as soon as the system processes it.
  • B. End of Term: Schedules the cancellation to occur at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Confirm: Submit the request. Clients will receive an automated confirmation email for their records.

Transfers

You may cancel domain transfers at any time prior to transfer completion. Refunds will be issued if cancelled within 59 days from the transaction date. 

1. Cancel an Unpaid Order

If the order is still pending and unpaid:

  • Log into your Client Area.
  • Navigate to the Billing or Orders section (depending on your host’s theme).
  • Locate the specific order for the domain transfer.
  • Look for an active Cancel button associated with that specific order or invoice, and confirm.

2. Cancel an Active/Billed Domain Service

If the transfer has already been processed and you wish to stop its renewal:

  • Log into your Client Area and go to Services > My Services.
  • Click on the domain service you want to cancel.
  • On the service management page, click the Cancel button or Request Cancellation.
  • Select whether you want the cancellation to be Immediate (happens right away) or at the End of Term.
  • Submit the request. You will receive a confirmation email once the cancellation is processed.

Renewals

Domain renewals can only be cancelled within 3 days of purchase. Please read Section 5(c) of our Terms and Conditions to ensure you understand the ramifications of cancelling a renewal. In short, cancelling a renewal will result in needing to permanently delete the domain except for certain automatic renewals.

  • Log In: Access your hosting provider’s Blesta Client Area.
  • Locate the Domain: Navigate to Services > My Services or access the dedicated Domain Manager section.
  • Manage the Service: Find the specific domain renewal order you want to cancel and click the Manage (or the Arrow/Details) button.
  • Schedule Cancellation: Click the Cancel option or Request Cancellation. Blesta will prompt you to select a cancellation reason and choose whether to cancel immediately or at the End of Term.
  • Confirm: Submit the request. Once scheduled, auto-renewals will be halted, and you won’t be billed for future cycles.

HOSTING ORDERS

The provision of goods and services by MAGAZINE DIRECTORY is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, MAGAZINE DIRECTORY will refund the client in full within 5-10 business days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract no administration fee. No refunds will be available after the 30 day period.

  • Log in to your web hosting provider’s Blesta Client Area.
  • Navigate to Billing > Services (or directly click on the active service/product from your dashboard).
  • Locate the service you wish to cancel and click Manage.
  • Click on the Cancel or Cancellation Options tab/button.
  • Select your cancellation type:
  • A. Immediate: Cancels the service and removes access immediately.
  • B. End of Term: Schedules the service to cancel on its final paid day (recommended to avoid losing current access).
  • Provide a reason for the cancellation, then submit the request.
